What is this resource?
This 6-page document provides an overview of five behavior screeners that each represent one of the following types of screeners: Emotional and Behavioral Screener, Behavior Assessment System for Children-Second Edition, Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire, Student Risk Screening Scale, or Systematic Screening for Behavior Disorders.

Why is it valuable?
Though universal screening can seem overwhelming, research points to the positive outcomes for students. Student need and the depth of need is identified. The process can also help schools identify and align resources and guide how to efficiently and effectively utilize those resources.
